Don:
The medal system works like this...

Undefeated = Gold
1 Loss = Silver
2 Losses = Bronze
3 Losses = Copper

The number of wins a wrestler has apparently doesn't matter. The least I saw on that list was three and the most was thirteen. It seems that Division 2 wrestled half the matches that Division 1 wrestled. I don't know how they divided teams into those two divisions.

Be nice to see a complete list for the District/all-star division along with Ohio's medalists.

A wistful thought.

Not so Dan. We had 7 teams in our pool for a total of 6 matches in pool action, and wrestled another 4 in the bracket we were placed in. All in all we ended up with 10 bouts (most of our kids got more due to numerous opportunities to get exhibition matches). Bracket placements were based upon pool finish. In our case we went 3-3 in pool action and were placed in a bracket where the highest we could place was 10th. We ended up 3rd in our bracket meaning we placed 12th overall in community D-2.

I was told that Community D-1 and D-2 were based on last years finish. New Community teams were placed in D-2 unless they request to be place in D-1.
