***CLINIC FEE: $100.00 which includes 10 hours of instruction on October 26th and 27th and Tournament entry on Sunday October 28, 2007***

Schedule

Friday 26 October:
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Session I
7:00 pm – 7:30 pm – Break
7:30 pm – 9:30 pm – Session II

Saturday 27 October:
9:00 am – 11:00 am – Session III
11:00 am – 12:00 pm – Lunch Break
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Session IV
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Break
3:00pm – 5:00 pm – Session V

Clinic Focus:

Takedowns
Focus will be on proven leg attacks and finishes, inside trips and some upper body throws.

Breakdowns and rides
Focus will be on legs, spiral and other effective breakdowns and rides.

Pinning, Tilting and Turns
Focus will be Tilting, Bars, Cradles, Legs and other effective turns, tilts and pinning combinations.

Escapes
Focus will be on Shrugs, Granby, Stand –ups and Leg Counters

$100.00 includes Friday/Saturday clinic and tournament on Sunday

Central Michigan All –American Wrestling Clinic
Under Coach Tom Borrelli’s guidance (16years) the CMU wrestling program has flourished. CMU is a Division I college that competes in the Mid American Conference. In the 2006 – 2007 season CMU was 7th at the Div-I National Duals, 4th at the Midlands, Champions of the Reno Tournament of Champions, Mid American Conference Champions for the 9th time in the last 10 years, and ranked the 4th best Div-I Dual Meet team in the country by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). In the last 9 years CMU has been in the NWCA Top Twenty 6 times with their highest ranking of 5th coming in 1998. Under Coach Borrelli CMU has produced 23 All – Americans and 1 National Champion.

In consideration of the above named wrestler who will be allowed to participate in the Central Michigan All-American Wrestling Clinic, we, and our heirs, administrators and estates hereby waive, release and discharge the Eastwood High School, Central Michigan All- Americans, all coaches and staff members affiliated in any way with said clinic from any and all demands, claims and suits of any type for any damages and injuries of any nature regarding or concerning the above named wrestler at any time, and we further, jointly and severally, agree to hold harmless and indemnify the released parties, jointly and severally, from any demands, clams and suits of any type for any such damages and injuries.

Pre-registration is recommended as the clinic will fill quickly and will be limited to the first 100 registrations received.

The Clinic Cost of $100, which includes entry into the Sunday Round Robin Tournament.

Clinic is for wrestlers age 6 years and up.

This clinic is a great opportunity for Northwest Ohio wrestlers to learn some great technique from the coaches of one of the nations best programs.
The clinic is only taking the first 100 paid registrations.
