presents
The 1st Annual Josh Miktarian Memorial
Pre-Season Wrestling Tournament
When: Sunday, October 26, 2008
Wrestling begins at 10:00 am
Where: Twinsburg High School gymnasium
10084 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, Ohio
Who: Middle School wrestlers
(Participants must be currently enrolled in 6th, 7th or 8th grade)
High School wrestlers
(Participants must be currently enrolled in 9– 12th grade)
What: Pre-season tournament, double elimination
Modified Ohio High School rules – all starts from neutral position
1-1-1 minute periods for middle school division
2-1-1 minute periods for high school division
Top four places in each weight class will be recognized
Registration: $15 per wrestler - registration will take place at 8 am the
morning of the tournament. Weigh-ins will begin at 8:30. The tournament will be limited to the first 500 wrestlers.
Wrestlers may pre-register by completing this form and mailing it with cash or a check in the amount of $15. Checks should be made out payable to Twinsburg Wrestling Club. Registrations should be mailed to Twinsburg Wrestling Club, 2411 Sandalwood Dr., Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. Coaches that wish to register 5 or more wrestlers may call Jamie Hogue at (216) 410-3234.

The Twinsburg(Oh) Wrestling Club will be holding the first annual Josh Miktarian Memorial Pre-season Tournament Sunday, October 26. The tournament has two divisions - high school (9-12) and middle school (6-8). Josh Miktarian was a Twinsburg police officer that was senselessly killed on duty at a traffic stop this summer. One half of the proceeds of the tournament will go to the charity of the family's choice. If you are a member of the wrestling community in the area in and around northeast Ohio, please advertise this opportunity to all interested wrestlers. Twinsburg is a suburban community 10 miles southeast of Cleveland, 8 miles northwest of Akron.
