What is the most weight that you are allowed to cut¿?

If your coaching staff is taking you through the legitimate certification process, then it depends on: 1) your hydration levels being acceptable at the time of certification, 2) your body fat percentage if you pass hydration testing, and 3) your weight at the time of the testing.

Based on those three inputs, the state will actually give you the lowest weight that you are allowed to certify and wrestle at for the upcoming season.

So to answer your question, there really isn't an exact number, or exact percentage of body weight that is the "max you can cut"...because everyone will have a different set of numbers above that will ultimately calculate to a different "max he/she can cut"...
