I saw on another site that Ben beats red-hot Jedd Moore of Virginia in the dual at the Big-Ten ACC clash.Great win for Jordan as Moore seemed to be on fire.

Thanks for the update. I am a fan of both guys, but frankly I am pretty suprised by that result.

Not really surprised here. Ben is so solid, makes very few mistakes -- the added pounds of muscle make him even tougher.

Jordan went 2-1 on the day, losing to Kody Hamrah (NC State) in the last match of the day. He also beat Ferguson (North Carolina).

Andrew Howe did not start for the Badgers yesterday, probably an indication of a redshirt, as the 165 they did have isn't overly accomplished. Badgers also redshirting Trevor Brandvold this year.

Badgers got four AA caliber wrestlers in Tanelli (141), Ruschell (149), Herbst (197), and Massey (285).

It'll be interesting to see what Ben can do through the grind of a B10 type schedule this year.

Interesting to see that Jordan starting right away for the Badgers. I think he could be an NCAA qualifier if he can hold up to the Big 10 grind. Jordan having the caliber of wrestlers around him to train with will go a long way.

I'm impressed with Ben Jordan. He's a better wrestler when not cutting too much weight.

I know you guys know his Dad has prepared him for this. A 2x NCAA champ can be a huge help in preparation not to mention the week after week of summer camps, the Graham room etc. Nice job Ben. As your Uncle always says, "There is not scret pill, just hard work".
