Bath has some nice Freshman coming in not sure if any will make some noise though. Elida has one if he sticks with it. By the time the WBL League gets here he will be ready to make a short run.
Wapak has a young man coming in but not sure what wieght he will be at. Did well at the Middle School State.
League Title will go to either Bath or Celina but WBL Tournament will be Elida.
1. Celina - Will be fielding an entire team. That means alot in the WBL. They are strong with Baskett, Dues and Stoker
2. Bath - With their incoming Freshman they will be fielding an entire team and may contend for that #1 spot. Led by Hefner & Beemer. League title may depend on if Caprella returns or not. He has never wrestled at the higher weights and will be at least 189 if not more.
3/4. Elida/Van Wert - What will hurt these 2 teams will be fielding an entire team. They both lost alot of seniors. Van Wert has been said that Custer won't be returning. Not sure what is left. McIntosh at 215 will be challenged this year if cetain kids decide to go up. Elida will most likely win the WBL Tournament again. They have the most kids that seemingly can place in the top. Hunlock/Brunk/Troyer/Ladd/Wittkamp are the names most know. Green and Leis will surprise some this year.
5/6/7. Defiance/St.Mary's/Wapak - These 3 are the Dark horse. If their numbers are up and they fill an entire team they may contend higher for the League. Miller for defiance. Shipp for Wapak. St. Mary's has Louth.
8. Shawnee - Didn't lose alot but what they do have is just ok. WIll field most of the classes.
9. Kenton - No one stands out. Good to see some kids still competing and hope they do well.
10. OG - With a football program like they have it is hard to believe that Wrest <sign_io> ling is so down.
