It was nice to see The OSU wrestling results in the paper. They put a line or two in for the kids that were locals. I think that match was last night at 8 PM. It would have been nice to see the results from Kent's match at 3PM. Kent has a lot of local kids also.
With such nice talent in ohio and Northeast Ohio you would think if any paper in the US would have the correct demographic, the PD would be the one. the ABJ would be in the runnings also.

It would be nice to see CSU get a little bit of coverage from the hometown newspaper.

theres a reason its known as the PeeeeeeeeeDeeeeeeeeee.
with more recent layoffs & forced departure of reporters-- for about the 3rd time in the last 3 years-- don't look for much there or at any major newspaper anymore. Its a dying business unfortunately.

I think that if the CSU, Kent, NDC, OSU, etc...take the time to do a brief writeup and fax the results in to the Plain Dealer, they stand a much better chance of getting the results printed. Kevin Schlosser is doing a very good job of promoting Ohio State wrestling with his buckeyewrestling.com website.
Incidentally, I get regular emails from Findlay and Kent with results. That's another great way to promote.
