Check out the new website at http://www.ohiortc.com

Last Thursday our Olympic hopefuls traveled to Trinity Elementary School to fulfill part of our community service initiative.

Our organization is in position to grow. We are looking to have 7-10 Olympic Hopefuls that train in Columbus, Ohio before the 2012 Olympic Trials. The Ohio RTC (formerly The Buckeye Wrestling Club) is geared towards the development of wrestlers at the University age division and up.

We look to post news and videos about the organization on a daily basis. Currently, we support two Olympic hopefuls in Shawn Bunch and J.D. Bergman. Both men have legitimate chances of winning the 2009 U.S. Open and representing the United States of America at the World Championships.

J.D. is on the verge of being cleared to wrestle again after an ACL tear last spring. Shawn is currently the #2 ranked American in freestyle at 132 pounds and was just seconds away from being our Olympian last summer.

We will be holding a fundraiser on April 17 at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe in an effort to further support our objectives. Jim Tressel will be a guest speaker. Be sure to go the website next week for all of the information about the event.

Regards,
Tommy Rowlands
