Discussion Topic: Notable sectional casualties?

The only one I could think of was Lance Coher, the 285 from Barberton. Any others?

We saw some good wrestling. My Preppers seem to be coming in to form, with Tassone beating Mike November, Kevan Fisher beating Holy from Lake Catholic, and Lawler beating Lance Zappitelli, all in the semis. Roddy also went OT with Fee. Nice showing to get 9 out.

Chris Fusco, returning state qualifier from Bishop Hartley, did not make it out of the Cardington sectional. Three returning state qualifiers and two vastly improving juniors in this weight. Chris lost a tough 1-0 match to SQ Mike Sheppard from Highland in the semi and defaulted to 6th.

This is off-topic, but Scott, are you related to the Jarrod Shaw that wrestles at West Liberty State College?

Is he a stud, then yes. If not, then no.

Just kidding. No, Tony, I am not related to any Shaws in and around the Great Lakes region. My father was the only male Shaw amongst the 8 children that my grandparents had. I do have numerous distant cousins that live in the northwest of this great country (Washington, Oregon) and a few that lived in Indiana but have since moved on to other regions.
