Discussion Topic: Nothing like State Tournament Wrestling

Even though I live out here in Iowa, the state wrestling tournament still has that special "it" factor about it. Amazing things happen there. One matchup I'm still shocked about is the #1 nationally ranked 160lber (St. John from Iowa City West) lost in the semis. Another great point of the state tournament is you get to see some unknown emerge. A freshman from my team upset the #2 ranked guy in the first round and ultimately finshed runner up. Like I said, nothing compares to the state wrestling tournament. Nothing!
