My family needs tickets badly!!!
They almost all have hip, leg, and knee problems and some walk with a cane...
If anyone has any tickets with lower level seating or if anyone can tell me what they should do, just send me a pm.
Thank You.

Anthony
In the first few rounds, I usually just buy any upper level ticket from a scalper or at the ticket window (window option first). Scalpers are usually selling them close to face value if not at face value. Fans can pretty much sit anywhere they want in the early rounds. You family will know early on which mat you will be wrestling on since your bout number determines it long before your match. They can find some seats near the mat you will be wrestling on. Every once in a while, someone will bring their ticket up to you and pull rank on you if you are in their seat even though there are 20 open seats around. This is where your family may have a problem with the medical issues you mentioned. They will have to move.
Since the medical factor may be an issue, I would suggest getting on OSUs website and getting a seating chart of the Shott. Then pick out some lower level sections in the middle and find scalpers that have tickets in those sections (you will not be able to find them at the ticket window) for the rounds you want that way no one can force your family to move. They should be able to have the best chance of a good view of your matches if they are in the middle. They will pay a bit more if you are asking for specific seating from a scalper since they will consider them premium tickets. The scalpers are all over the place and shouldn't be hard to find.
Hopefully you get lucky and find some good tickets from someone you know, then you don't have to worry about scalpers. I root for this option as I hate scalpers anyway.
Good luck.

For some reason, I got practice at 6:00 tonight (don't ask, I'm just as clueless as you are)

Does this mean that I will be wrestling on mat 8?
How do I find out ahead of time what mat I will be wrestling on?

Nice one John

Check out the link below:

According to this you will wrestle on mat 8 first and win or lose, you will be wrestling on mat 4 for your second match. Jake's wrestling has been very accurate in the past and I would expect nothing different this year.
