Lance Palmer (Ohio State)
- Won by pin George Hickman (Bloomsburg) 4:48
- Won by dec. Matt Cathell (Delaware State) 4-3
i said yesterday i was glad Palmer had the rattail bout to get warmed up for the dangerous Cathel from Delaware St.

a first round loss is bad news, very disapointed in the Rella result, 3-0. Dave can do better than that, was 2 & 2 as i recall at NCAA a year ago.

The 3 buckeye at-large selections not doing them much good so far, all lost in first round: Johnstone, Morrison and Triggas.

how about state 4th placer Vince DiDonna from st Eds?? Wr for C Mich at 184 won his first 2 matches. The magic of coach Tom Borrelli, i bet that was DiDonna's only scholarship offer too and im sure it wasnt for much $$ ?? Its no accident what Borrelli's built at C Mich

Man, I was hoping that Jedd Moore was going to pull that one out against the high school All World Welch. That may develop into an interesting rivalry in the future.

I thought that Dong was going to pull the upset also. Kinser is a tough tough draw coming back through. The true frosh from Ohio came to wrestle though didn't they?

yep u r right, very good job by both--- esp by Jedd Moore , AWN # 4 at 152 all-classes combined last season (and received some criticism for it). But he always did very well in fargo and had alot of speed, an ingredient u cant coach.
