Discussion Topic: Attention High School Wrestling Coaches
Bart Freidenberg added to this discussion on March 22, 2009

Please check your school mailbox this week, as The Ohio Tournament of Champions is offering each School program a very special offer.

We also still have only a couple of spots available for our Team Duals, at this year's Ohio TofC on April 25. We have heard from several coaches that have expressed an interest in them, but are waiting for confirmation from them. First come first served on the remaining spots.

In addition, you will find an application for both the 2009 & 2010 Ohio All-Star Teams.

The 2009 Team will be for younger wrestlers (currently in grades 5-9). Current plans are for them to travel out west for a pair of tournaments and also a couple dual meets. Currently, Derek Moore, Outstanding Wrestler at the 2006 NCAA Championships, is scheduled to work the team camp.

The 2009 Team will be for wrestlers that are currently in grades 8-11. Plans are for the team to travel to New Zealand for a true wrestling cultural exchange. The Ohio All-Stars have twice taken a team "Down Under" (1992 & 1994).

If you have a wrestler in your program that you feel you be an asset to this team, please give them the application to fill out. If necessary, you can make addtional copies of the form.

If you have any additional questions on any of the above, please contact Bart Freidenberg at bart@ohiotofc.com or 614-833-5885.
