I think that depends on what Dustin Schlatter does next year. He has 1/3/7 finshes and has lost only 7 times in college, so he has a strong case going for him.

Don't forget Jim Jordan. 4x state champion with a record of 150-1. He was a 2x NCAA champion (156 wins), 3x All-American, and a two time Big Ten Champion. He also beat John Smith while in college as well.

I will push for a 3-timer who was not allowed to wrestle in 9th grade. Tom Milkovich. Undefeated in high school, 4-time undefeated Big Ten Champ. NCAA champ.

I was just going with a guy who was not allowed to compete 4 times. It's not like he lost any.

You can argue this all day long. The bottom line, Jaggers earned his spot among the best ever from the state of Ohio.
I don't know if Jaggers makes that jump to the International level or not, but he deserves to be mentioned with the best of the best.

I have to make a pitch for Alan Fried. No disrecpt to J. He is amazing and should be considered in the top 10 Ohio greats!!! However, Alan only lost 2 college matches (both to Tom Brands in the NCAA finals). He was a one time champ (3x All American) and totally dominated his senior year. His freshman redshirt year he was an Espior World Champion. Because of recruiting violations at Oklahoma State he was not able to compete at Nationals the following year. Also, when discussing this topic, I think Alan has the highest winning % in Oklahoma State's history (pretty darn impressive). In college he pinned Tom Brands and beat Pat Smith by a very large margin as well as many other greats.

First off, most people will agree Fried is definitely right at the top of the list of Ohio's finest. With that said, a few points:
1) He wasn't a 4x state champ--he lost his freshman year.
2) He lost around 6 matches in college (all but one of them was to Tom Brands).
3) Yes, he pinned Brands in college, along with beating him other times (including a 1st period tech fall in high school).
4) I believe he actually techfalled Pat Smith, but it was in a freestyle tournament when Alan bumped up a weight at the
very
last minute.

Based on hs and college I would say that Jim Jordan and Dustin Schlatter also have solid arguments.
