This will be our 2nd graders first Ohio tournament.
How many kids would you expect him to have in his bracket (56 lbs)
It'll be weird b/c this is the same weekend that he was supposed to be at Iowa Games. Gonna be weird not knowing everyone. We were to the point where we knew everyone at the tournaments and it almost felt like a family reunion each weekend.

Pre-registrations are rolling in. SHould be another great turnout. I have taken numerous calls from Ohio WV and PA from people stating they are bringing big groups of kids.

Don't forget to e-mail and find out how your wrestler can wrestle for free. Only a few more spots left. mmilner@Columbus.rr.com

Reminder...This year's tournament is at a new location, bigger, newer gymnasium and air conditioned. Tri-Valley High School 46 E. Muskingum Ave
Dresden, Ohio 43821.

Also, we will be running the tournament a little different this year. Still round robin with as many as 6/weight class, should run a little faster this way.

If you think you may be coming to this tournament, post it on here.

OK...Here are the pre-registered wrestlers I have. Keep in mind that only a small amount of people actually pre-register ( approx 5-10%). We currently have more pre-registrations this year than last year.

Last year this tournament had almost 300 wrestlers. I am expecting about the same or a little more again this year. I have recieved call after call from people that are bringing kids but did not pre-register. I have also answered numerous e-mails about the tournament.

I want to thank all those who made the trip to Dresden this past weekend for the 4th Annual Zanesville PAL Summer Wrestling Tournament. Thanks also to Tri-Valley High School for the use of the gymnasium, and to all of the volunteers who helped make this tournament a success yet again.

The turnout was not quite as many as last year, but still very good as well as some very good wrestlers from all over Ohio, Pa, WV, KY, IN and even as far away as Colorado. 193 Registered wrestlers. Some of which wrestled more than 1 division. We only had to refund 1 wrestlers registration fee because we simply did not have anyone else near his weight for him to wrestle. Everyone else got at least 2 matches most of which getting 4-6 matches.

If we had a MVW award I would have to give it to a young lady from Indiana who wrestled in 2 different divisions and went undefeated for the day. If any of you ever get the opprotunity to see this young lady wrestle, you should take advantage of it. This young ladies name is Demi Moore. I was told that she is the Indiana State Triple Crown Champion. I would not be surprised.

Below are a list of the results for all weight classes. I appologize in advance if the are any spelling errors or mistakes. It is sometimes very difficult to read the handwriting on some of these registration forms.

I welcome any comments about this years tournament. As always, we are always trying to improve things and make this tournament the best it can possibly be. Please be constructive. You may also feel free to e-mail mmilner@Columbus.rr.com with your comments if you do not feel comfortable posting them on the forum.
