Just curious... why has Nick Brascetta's name not come up? Thoughts?

I think Brascetta's name might come up in a year or so depending on who else commits to OSU, but he will only be a junior next year. However, if he doesn't grow much and the Buckeyes have Stieber and Clark, he probably won't end up at OSU, though.

What about Stone from Oak Harbor? State runnerup @ 119. Maybe a career 125?

Stone also has a 3.9 GPA and with other Oak Harbor alums there it could be a possability. (Magrum, Bergman, and Tank)

I didn't think we received Tank's skills at Ohio State...I could be wrong on that though.

Not sure if he is wrestling- pretty sure he might go to school there (100% - no). Stone's brother also goes there.

Tank is on the roster at Michigan State. Whether that is the case for next season or not, I don't know...

So you're saying he's at Ohio State right now (even if it is just to go to school), confirmed?

Yes he wrestled there during the 08-09 season.

To be honest, I don't see him as an Ohio State type of recruit. Doesn't have the major national credentials of others in the projected 125 typecast position - be it Clark, Mitch, or Robinson in this conversation.

With a 3.9+ GPA, an Ivy or Eastern (i.e. Bucknell) school could be in the cards.

I wouldn't mind giving Brascetta a look at the Buckeyes when his junior year is complete. I'm always for adding Ohio's best to an Ohio State roster.

As far as Oak Harbor kids go, I wouldn't mind them taking a look at Miller in a couple years. That kids got some moxie and will be even better when he matures physically.

As far as tOSU recruiting a stud 133, they already have and his name is Ian Paddock. I could see him having a season similar to the one Hump had his freshman year.

I just hope Paddock is all healed up before the season gets rolling. Nothing worse than to reinjure yourself when you try to go and start for a team.

According to the D1CW site Jamie Clark is a 2010 ISU commitment. InterMat is also tracking 2010 commits and does not have Clark listed. Anyone know the current status? Sure would like to see him in scarlet and gray. That would solidify the lower weights long term.

Don: Clark is not commited to ISU. He had given a verbal. Bob Preusse could more accurately comment but it appears he is a "free agent" at the moment.
