Chris Vondruska will be at this Sunday's open mats at Lutheran West giving a glimpse of what camp will be like. Stop in from 4-6 this Sunday and next Sunday to check out the technique.
Camp info below:
Date: July 20-23rd Location: Lutheran West High School 3850 Linden Road Rocky River, OH 44116
Daily Sessions:
Session I – (9-11:30am):
Ages: 7-14 (1-3 years experience) – This session is based around basic technique directed toward beginning youth wrestlers.
Session II – (1-3:30pm):Ages: 10-18 (3+ years experience or high school) – This session will still contain basic technique but will move at a quicker pace.
Cost:
Pre-registration -- $120 At-the-door -- $135 Limited to first 100 entries per session Costs include 4 days of camp, including one session a day, with some of the best Northeast Ohio athletes ever assembled. Also included in the cost is a Northeast Ohio Championship Wrestling Camp t-shirt. Entry fee included into the 4th Annual Longhorn Round-Robin Tournament on July 24th and 25th.

Looking forward to seeing Chris on Sunday. He will be in a good group for the camp. The N.C. kid is tough and Steve has a state qualifier from Pickerington staying with him that week.
If you haven't turned in the camp form yet, just bring it on Sunday.

Excellent turnout today. Over 20 High school wrestlers and 7 youth wrestlers.
One more week to get a preview of the camp with Chris Vondruska. Chris went around to each group offering technique help.
4th annual Longhorn Round Robin is free with camp registration.
If you can't make the camp but want to wrestle in the tournament, registration is now open. Email your info to Coach Ressler at dressler@lutheranwest.com to reserve the $10 price or its $20 at weigh-ins/door.
Gary- Chris has improved a lot this summer. Getting harder to escape against him and harder to keep him from escaping. Still needs to work on his takedowns. I'm looking forward to seeing him wrestle in the duals and the tournament.

Dave, he knows takedowns are probably the weakest part of his game now and that it needs to be continually worked on. Whatever you guys can show him at camp will be appreciated by both of us.
