Discussion Topic: College Football Picks: Week 9
Dan Cosimi added to this discussion on October 21, 2007

All picks must be in by noon on Saturday, October 27.

Last Week's Results
Champion: Leo Zimmer (9-1)
Runner-up (tie): Marmaros, Cosimi (7-3)

Weekly Winners: Armstrong, Zimmer

This Week's Games

#1 Ohio State (8-0) at #25 Penn State (6-2)
** Will the Bucks' undefeated season survive a Penn State "white-out" in this Big 10 brawl?

#21 California (5-2) at #4 Arizona State (7-0)
** The Sun Devils face their first big test in revenge-minded Cal in a PAC-10 battle with all kinds of implications.

#9 Kansas (7-0) at Texas A&M (6-2)
** The Jayhawks proved they're for real against Kansas State (who defeated Texas) and Colorado (who defeated Oklahoma), but can they keep it up against their Big 12 foes?

#12 Southern California (6-1) at #5 Oregon (6-1)
** A PAC-10 battle with BCS and conference title implications.

#7 West Virginia (6-1) at Rutgers (5-2)
** These teams split wins and losses against Maryland and South Florida. Big East title chances hang in the balance.

#16 South Carolina (6-2) at Tennessee (4-3)
** SEC battle in which both teams are looking to bounce back from uncharacteristic losses.

Michigan State (5-3) at Iowa (3-5)
** Sparty and the Hawks look to bounce back into the Big 10 mix.

Clemson (5-2) at Maryland (4-3)
** Clemson comes off a huge win over CMU, but Maryland will be much tougher based on their upset of then tenth-ranked Rutgers.

Ohio (3-5) at Bowling Green (4-3)
** The only game pitting two Ohio teams against each other this week. The Bobcats look to regain last year's MAC championship form against the Falcons, who looked very good in defeating Kent State.

Central Michigan (4-4) at Kent State (3-5)
** The Golden Flashes look to rebound against the Chipps, who gave up 70 points last week in the loss to Clemson.
