Ben Sergent, a senior at Troy Christian High School, committed to wrestle at Central Michigan University. Sergent, who has a career record of 117-16, was the 2007 state champion in Division 3 at 112 pounds after placing second and fourth at 103 pounds his first two seasons. Sergent has also produced excellent results in Freestyle and Greco-Roman, winning the Junior National Freestyle championship in 2006 and has multiple All-American finishes. Sergent joins a Central Michigan team that has established itself as one of the nation's premier programs under head coach Tom Borrelli. Congrats to Ben and the Chippewas.

Big class so far for Tom Borrelli as this program tries to establish themselves as even more the class of the MAC than they are.
Sergent adds to Eric Cubberly, Ben Bennett, and Scotti Sentes as signings in this class.
