Ohio State takes on Illinois in Urbana-Champaign on Friday. Could be a dangerous dual for the Bucks. Here's the Illini's likely starting lineup.

125 pounds: John Deneen (9-9, 3-3) Jr.
133 pounds: Daryl Thomas (13-14, 1-5) r-Fr.
141 pounds: Ryan Prater (12-6, 3-2) Jr.
149 pounds: Eric Terrazas (12-5, 1-5) So.
157 pounds: Clint Arlis (11-3, 2-1) Sr.
165 pounds: Conrad Polz (14-13, 2-4) r-Fr.
174 pounds: Jordan Blanton (17-4, 5-1) So.
184 pounds: John Dergo (26-2, 6-0) Sr.
197 pounds: Patrick Bond (18-10, 4-2) Sr.
285 pounds: Pat Walker (10-13, 0-2) r-Fr.

The Bucks will be favored in the first four weights but they could prove tricky. Paddock looked like he hit a wall last weekend and needs to re-group. Prater, 141, is a talented wrestler. Terrazas is also solid although he doesn't really have the style to beat Lance. Triggas should win easily as long as he doesn't run into any trouble on his feet.

At 157, Arlis will be a light favorite for the Illini although it wouldn't be a shock to see either Buckeye 157 win. Polz is going to be good but he's fodder for Sponseller. But the bout turns at 174. Blanton and Rella should be a tight match and Dergo will be favored over Pucillo. It's hard to see Iron Mike as the underdog but Dergo is a fast, strong, athletic 184-pounder and won their matchup earlier in the season. Bond has never lived up to his high school hype but he has wrestled well of late. The key is for Magrum to pull the upset him would be to take him down early or keep it close and push the action. Corey Morrison will be a solid favorite at heavyweight.

This road dual is Ohio State's last real test prior to Iowa. While the Bucks look to be solid favorites, it would make Illinois season to win and they know it. Ohio State needs to come out hard every bout and make sure a solid victory doesn't become a close match. It only takes one upset for a solid win to become a tight dual.

Unfortunately for Prater & Terrazas they have 2 of the best Buckeyes in Reece & Lance. I would love to see Rella beat Blanton. Dave seems to be peaking, We'll see. I think Illinois has some type of Pay TV Access so I'm looking forward to watching the matches live.

This is going to be a tremendous dual. I was very disappointed to find that it won't be on tBTN.

Tough to hate on tBTN for missing one dual when it has given so many other terrific duals.

I just signed up for the Illini All Access Monthly $9.95 on the wrestling website. I have to wait for the broadcast to see if it works. It doesn't archive prior matches.
