According to the O-Zone preview of the NDC v Ohio State match, Jamie Milkovich is no longer the head coach at Maple. I have heard nothing on this topic. Can anyone provide some details?
Jamie is one of the best coaches--if not the best--I have ever known in the hs wrestling ranks. He bleeds Maple Heights Maroon. I'm shocked.

I will find out for sure on monday. I had plans to speak with Jamie regarding making our match a jr. high/hs combined match.
This would certainly be surprising to me. Based on my discussions with him, over the past year, I have not seen Jamie this energized about a group of kids and being proactive about making wrestling better. I am hoping this is a red herring.

Todd: Maybe I misread the article? But it mentioned a new coach, Steve Pennington, and that Jamie had coached from 1981-2007. Jamie bleeds Maroon and White. I can't imagine him leaving unless he felt there was no choice.
