Not a lot of time to look thoroughly through these but some interesting results.

Both of Michigan's 125s defaulted out.
DiAgosta pinned Guhn.
Priestly had a good day as did Nemec.
Zeerip form Michigan, undefeated through most of HS (I think except for Senior Natinals where Sponseller beat him), beaten in Rd 1 but worked back through a long way.
A little rough for Weakley; maybe a redshirt now?

I had no idea the EMU Open was this stacked. It was like an Ohio high school star reunion.

There are way too many results here for me to get them all, but I'll touch on some...

125: Ryan Riggs (4th), Akif Eren, and Steve Austin did well. Not a great tournament for some of the youngsters. Eren knocked out NHSCA Senior finalist Olanowski.

133: Eric Meyer and Jeremy Espinoza did well here.

141: Keith Sulzer defeated Josh Falk 5-2 in the quarterfinals. Falk didn't lose again until the consolation finals. Sulzer ended up third. (They didn't face each other again though, because the semifinal loser automatically go into a final bout.) Falk's best win was over Collin Dozier. Antonio Nicholson, Lawrence Cavello, and Ryan Cubberly all did well here but did not place. Kellen Russell also didn't place here, but he defaulted out after a few matches. This was a very tough weight class.

149: Not many big Ohio performances here. Ryan Hurley did not compete.

157: Findlay's two-time national champion Tony Guerra split with Ohio State star true freshman Sean Nemec. Nemec won the first bout 6-4 in the first round, then won a few and fell 9-8 to the champion Bertucci from Purdue. That set up the rematch which Guerra won 5-2. Guerra finished in 3rd place. Robbie Michaels came back from an early pin with a good run through the consolation bracket.

165: Justin Shannon did well here. Kyle Chittick, formerly of Cleveland State, is apparently now wrestling at Eastern Michigan.

174: Mike Miller, an All-American last year at 165, came back from an upset loss to finish third. Tommy Priestley did very well here. He was on a collision course with Northwestern star freshman Mike Benefiel the consolation bracket, but Benefiel defaulted.

184: Nick Palmieri (3rd), Hiram Smith (5th), and Eric Cameron did very well here. Palmieri's only loss was in the semifinals, 9-3 to Kelto from Central Michigan.

197: John Weakley defeated Michigan's Biondo (who ended up winning the consolation bracket) 5-4, then lost to Michigan State's Joe Williams 3-2. Matt Clum edged Alek Hughes 9-8 in the first round. Logan Brown placed third, his only loss was in the semifinals to champion Mike Tamillow from Northwestern. Weakley and Clum ended up getting pinned by Dan Stevenson from Findlay in the consolation bracket. Vince DiDona did very well too as he only lost to quarterfinal to Tamillow and the consolation final to Biondo.

285: There were a lot of Ohio wrestlers here, though neither Cleveland State heavyweight was entered. Corey Morrison only lost to Ed Prendergast from Navy 6-4, but he then defaulted. Eric DiAgosta defeated Matt Guhn. David Wade placed sixth after defeating Findlay's Travis Clark.
