I was just wondering if anyone knows how we will be able to track results live?

InterMat is running a live blog, and I think NWCA will have results as well.

Flo will have matches up on Sunday, but nothing live.

My thoughts on the Bucks this weekend:

125 - Stieber will face some excellent competition, but I will be disappointed if he is not in the finals against Robles. I want to see that match.

133 - Paddock is in an absolutely brutal weight class, almost like nationals. Everyone is there. I bet he outplaces his seed.

141 - This will be an early measuring stick for Palmer. I am interested to see how he does. With the right draw, I think he can make some noise.

149 - Another interesting weight class for Ohio State. I really want to see how Nemec wrestles. He had a nice win against Johnson, and then a brain fart against Nebraska. He needs to step up.

157 - I have an interesting take here. If Sponseller makes the finals, he beats Jenkins. However, I don't think he will make the finals. I know it's counterintuitive, but I think he is a terrible matchup for Jenkins.

165 - Kusar goes 0-2.

174 - Not sure of Heflin's status. If he doesn't get injured, Ohio State probably beats Pitt. I think he has the potential to be great, this year, but he needs his performance to match.

184 - Capone was a bit disappointing at the Buckeye Duals, after a solid MSU Open. Needs to bounce back with at least a few wins.

197 - Magrum is a 184 wrestling 197. Until he realizes that he will continue to get ridden out and physically dominated.

285 - I am unsure what to think about Hiles. He went 0-2 at the Duals, but wrestled two top 10 opponents. His performance here will be telling.

I am hopeful, but not optimistic. I see Stieber and Paddock performing well, Sponseller wrestling to his seed (probably 3-4), and hoping for a surprise placer.

GO BUCKS!!!!!

Thank you Mr Jackson! Finally I am not only one who thinks Magrum is not 197. I just don't understand this decision. Take nothing away from Capone he is no 184 undersized. So why are we not bringing Magrum down? I think Magrum could do big things at 184. Call me crazy I see Logan winning this.

Nice info, Jason.

At 141, there were two things I saw at the Buckeye Duals that lead me to believe Collin will take some time to get to form. The first is that he was gassing way early, which is understandable considering he had only been cleared to wrestle for what? A week or less? The second is that he seemed much less cut than we are used to seeing either of the Palmers. Again, you can't really hold that against him; it would be pretty tough to keep up on your lifting regimen if your back is all out of whack. And I'm not saying he was a shrimp; he was still muscular, just seemed a little less so than usual.

So I could see him losing a couple disappointing match this weekend from being out of shape, but I think when January comes around he will be fine.

Does anyone have any inside info on Jameson? Is he done wrestling? Also what time Friday do they start wrestling?

I don't see Logan getting past Robles the first time around. History has shown most guys, the first time they wrestle him, are dumbfounded. The better guys figure him out. No one scores big against this guy, but if you take away his tilts and get out from bottom quickly, you have a chance of winning. He just so unique, you have to have a strategy.

Not to mention Robles IS a 145 pounder in a 125 pound body. All things are proportional... his chest, bi's, tri's, shoulders, forearms...that all look the same as a Collin Palmer, Sean Nemec, Lance Palmer, Isaac Jordan, Michael Rodriguez, Tony Jameson, Billy Murphy, Joe Heskett, etc.

That HAS to be a distinct advantage, right?
