Utley gets out immediately in the second after a scoreless first period. 1-0
Utley escapes on his choice and gets a nice single leg to take a 3-1 lead
After a scoreless first- Evans takes down and escapes a little bit in to take a 1-0 lead
McIntosh on a low single from the outside- has it deep and somehow Evans fights it off
McIntosh takes down in the third and gets out to tie it 1-1

He is a phenomenal wrestler and he stays in very good position and has outstanding defense. That is an excellent result for him against someone as highly regarded as McIntosh. As a Junior I believe he could easily grow into the 97 that tOSU has been needing!

Neither did much in the 189 match, Evans kind of shut down McIntosh's offense as much he could, and McIntosh didn't do much either.
Evans has verballed to Virginia Tech, btw.

285- Brooks Black (Blair) vs. Doug Vollaro (Oviedo FL)
Black with a big TD early, but Vollaro gets out before the period ends 2-1
Black gets his escape to lead 3-2 in the third. Vollaro shoots a single, and almost has it but Black whizers out and almost gets a td
They scramble out against and crash into Brakeman's broadcast table
On the last restart, Vollaro gets a nice shot off but Black defends it well and wins 3-2
Carlos Lugo pins a Montini kid to get 5th
