On behalf of the OAC and ALL of Ohio's youth wrestlers I have contacted The Ohio State University Head Coach Tom Ryan to ask if he would support ALL of Ohio youth wrestling programs with special OSU offers. His response was:
Jude-
"We want to allign ourselves with ALL the youth programs in the state of Ohio. Yes, we can do a clinic at both events. We are completely committed to the state. Thanks for reaching out to us."
Tom Ryan
The package offer includes a ticket to the Iowa match Friday Jan. 18th 2008 at 7:00 PM, a t-shirt, and The OSU 2006-07 highlight DVD.
All of this is available for just $10.00 per wrestler and it is available to ALL of the youth wrestlers in Ohio.
The OAC Newsletter will be out in the next couple of days and it will contain the order form and information (if you would like this info and the OAC Newsletter go to www.ohioathletics.com and click on OAC Newsletter to sign up.
The OSU wrestling team will also be teaming with the OAC Ohio School of Wrestling to put on a free clinic during the weigh in of both The Grade School and The Jr. High State Tournaments. This is available to ALL wrestlers not just the state qualifiers. Thank you, Tom Ryan and The Ohio State Buckeye Wrestling Team. It is obvious that you are dedicated to OHIO wrestling on ALL levels. The OAC will be sure to support the Buckeyes.
