Pulled this off of another webpage, don't know that they work but give them a try. I've got the brackets up on escapesports.com and gimpsoftware.com (they go to the same place).
Looks like NC State's Darrion Caldwell will not gets his wish to see Palmer and J.P. O'Connor unless he make the finals.
149 Michigan Josh Churella 1
149 Harvard J.P. O'Connor 2
149 Ohio State Lance Palmer 3
149 Rider Don Fisch 4
149 NC State Darrion Caldwell 5
149 Nebraska Jordan Burroughs 6
149 Missouri Josh Wagner 7
149 Cal St Fullerton Morgan Atkinson 8
149 Purdue Jake Patacsil 9
149 West Virginia David Jauregui 10
149 Western State Camille DuPont 11
149 Penn Cesar Grajales 12

I like the pairings for OSU. I don't see any obvious 1st round mismatches. I actually like Palmer's bracket, if he gets to semis he could see O'Connor who I believe he beat last year in NCAA cons. What is the time delay from here to Vegas, 2 or 3 hours?

OSU has a solid first couple rounds.
OU wrestling without Lindsey, Ison, or a 74. No idea why.

Lindsey has an injury, sorry no details. Ison had a scholastic issue, don't know about the 74.

Weakley vs. Villers should be interesting.

Yeah, Villers always had a decent leg attack, which seems to be Weakley's weakness. But if John can catch him with an upper body throw, who knows? And he is only a freshman; our other frosh (Triggas & Campbell lost) but that has to be expected. If they learn something in defeat, I'll be satisfied.

Anyone know who the Junior College kid is that beat Picazo 15-2?

Humphrey is off to a nice start. I also noticed that Corey Jantzen, predicted by some to be an AA as a true frosh, is not looking as if he's going to be the next Dustin Schlatter.
Picazo continues to struggle. I've gotta believe it's the weight cut. But, then again, I said that all last season about Jaggers and he shut me up at Nationals. Maybe it's just early in the season...

Some noteworthy results from CKLV:
133) Raymond Dunning dec Jim Kennedy, 10-4. Kennedy was one of the better true frosh in D1 last years and beat Enright at least twice. Dunning competes for Adams State.
133) Filip Novachkov 6-3 over Lou Ruggirello. Similar to above--Ruggirello had an excellent year as a true frosh. Novachkov defeating him is a surprise.
141) Kellen Russell, a true frosh, won 9-4 over Pitt's Drew Headlee. Headlee has been around a while and has some big career wins. He's not supposed to get knocked around by Russell.
149) Lance Palmer pinned former Lake Catholic stud, Anthony Constantino in the Rd of 16.
Also note that Don Fisch, Rider, FF'd out of the tourney. Fisch very nearly beat Ryan Lang last year at nationals. Some felt he did but didn't get the right calls from the officials. No Fisch at 149 makes it easier for top seeded Josh Churella. Well, sort of. Churella could end up with Darrion Caldwell in the quarters or semis. I'll take Caldwell. He's smoking hot at the moment.
157) This appears to be the marquee weight class of the tourney with Gillespie, Henning, Poeta, Zupancic and Kocher all competing. All are former AA's with Gillespie and Henning as returning finalists. Zupancic downed Johnstone 12-8 in the rd of 16.
174) Ohio State's Alex Picazo has won two straight in the cons after a surprising opening rd loss. I'll speculate that the more recovery time he has after the weigh in, the better he wrestles. Just me running my mouth so don't take me too seriously.

Really happy for Jason Marshall to see him back on the mat. It is tough to take time off and come back and he has shown a great deal of resolve.
If he can continue to improve who knows what his potential at this point.
Lost in round one and now has two wrestle back W's.
Ison and Lindsey out of the line up for OU hurts.
Also if there are OU insiders on here, is Iammarino beating Powell in wrestle offs? Iammarino has impressed me. Not winning a ton of matches, but competing very well as a true freshman.

I was starting to think the same thing about Picazo. It happens sometimes. You think dropping down will make them better, and sometimes the cut takes too much out of them. Look how much better Bergman seems to be at 285. Again, like you said, it's really early in the season; let's hope he'll adjust in the coming months. I'm not that surprised he's lost some, but the margin of defeat seems a bit large for a 5th yr. senior??

Jack: I think that a decision was made last spring for Picazo to drop as Pucillo was already having great success at 184.
More results: Jared Villers beat John Weakley 9-5 in Rd of 16 at 197. Villers, some of you may recall, beat J.D. in the first rd of nationals last season.
J.D. won 13-6 in his rd of 16 bout. Pucillo won by TF.
Also, keep your eye on former Garfield Heights stud, Justin Dobies. Dobies last hs match was an unfortunate state finals loss to a wrestler he'd hammered the week before. He's been all over the lineup for UNC but has now emerged as their 285 and is having alot of success. His sr year at Garfield he was a smallish 189 and couldn't have been more than 5' 10". I can't imagine that he's any taller but I'll bet he's around 225-230. Dobies has advanced to the quarterfinals at 285.
