Yeah, Bob, you had to dig along way to find that one.
At least your not losing your memory yet in your 'mature' years!"
|
so now your taking personal shots? oh well.
good calls are timeless, and bad ones too, "Dewey Beats Truman" will never be forgotten."

Bob:
I am not laughing at you, I am laughing with you.
My handle on the OWN site is BUCKGRAD80, because I graduated OSU in 1980 at the tender age of 22. You can do the math.
On the memory thing. I used to have an excellent memory until I had a car accident 15-1/2 years ago. I hit a horse at 55 mph, that landed on the roof of my car that collapsed the roof down to the level of the bottom of the windows in the door. My head (and brain) tried to stop the roof from lowering, but to no avail. I had a pretty seriously swollen brain, four cracked ribs, and two mangled arms and hands. Needless to say, my memory capabilities were never the same after that incident. But, I can still calculate, use formulas, and read plans, so overall I was pretty lucky. - Sometimes, you just have to learn to deal with the hand that life dealt ya, and be thankful it isn't worse!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Poster on yappi says he spoke to Bo yesterday and he has been sick and is not wrestling. Don't shoot the messenger.

You stink Jason Jackson!
I suspect in retrospect, Logan wishes he had made the same decision. This is an important tournament at this stage in BoJo's career. BoJo doesn't want to go 2-2 all because he has been sick. Wise choice.

I guess I don't understand the risk a RS has? Is he trying to protect a ranking? No. A seed? No. A legacy? Perhaps.
Would love to see all red shirts put it on the line as often as possible. Cael and David Taylor both lost as redshirts, I don't think it hurt them.
Having said that, if any redshirt is too injured/sick to compete they shouldn't. I just don't believe there is anything at risk with a loss.

I don't think there's anything to lose either. If he's not going to be able to compete near his best, though, then no problem if he sits out.

As an opponet I wouldn't want to wrestle him if he's sick. Not everyone is redshirting and you don't want him spreading a sickness to anyone. I say good call.

I agree Ethan, there is no REAL risk. I think he just wants to make a statement at Midlands. And, as Rex said, it's a great tournament. I wouldn't wrestle in it if I were not at full capacity.

Pat, I graduated from OSU in 1980, too. Bet I started earlier than you did, though. Pecked away part-time while I was working nights at the OSU Med Ctr, and I was in the Army for two years, too.
Sorry about that accident. Glad you survived such a traumatic event. Makes this sciatica I've been going through for the past 5 months a minor nuisance by comparison.
In reality, it's pretty brutal at times. Kind of like attaching jumper cables to my right leg. But who's complaining?

Saw him at the Holiday Tournament today in Dayton with Graham. Didn't look sick to me. I guess if he's there tomorrow that will be telling.

Well, it would tell me that he's at the Holiday Tournament for a second day, with Graham. But perhaps it would tell Dr. Surles something different/additional. After all, he examined him from across the gym, and could tell that he was not sick.

Lol...it would obviously tell he isn't wrestling at Midlands if he was here today, Which he's not. The brackets suppose to release today for midlands. So who knows maybe he is wrestling. And if you were sick would you be hanging around all day at a wrestling tournament??? Oh and by the way I wasn't across the gym..I could have just asked him ;)
