Ironman on december 12 & 13 should feature great team race between SPG, Blair and Oak Park River Forest Illinois. Makes the wrestlebacks exciting.

some of PA's best again here incl Franklin Regional with the incomparable Cadet World champion Spencer Lee, 113 last year. Wy Sem is loaded incl a couple top trfs. Canon-McMillan. And tough Ilinois teams Montini and Marmion are back.

St John Bosco Calif will being the 2 Valencia bros, defending Ironman champs with Zahid looking to join David Taylor as the only 4x Ironman champs. Bosco also brings the nations # 1 ranked freshman 106 Olivas. 106 should again be superloaded, Ohio's Jaden Mattox too.

Btw David Taylor will be on hand to receive this years Ironman Legacy award. Last year was Lee Kemp.

best new teams from Ohio, Delta-- and Wadsworth is back in after being out a couple years -- Dayton Christian will be very tough. Perrysburg, Oregon Clay, Mass Perry all back in.

many good new indiv, incl alot of kids from smaller ohio schools like Cameron Kelly, Kade Kowalski, Wade Hodges, Nat Hagan, Garrett Hancock, Cale Bonner, Richie Screptock, Kaleb Romero.

Of course Brecksville will bring Jr Ntl champ Austin Assad. McDonogh Md will bring top recruit Myles Martin, unless he spends his senior year at the OTC.

as always on Thurs and Fri evenings the greats, near-greats, has-beens, wannabees and never-beens will gather en masse in the lounge at the Clarion Inn Hudson a few miles from Walsh. Many of the teams stay there. Occassionally an olympic gold like Kenny Monday or Tom Brands can be seen in the vicinity, as well as writers & rankers of note Willie Saylor, Corey Haddad and Josh Lowe.

is this akin to the famed days-of-yore Harry's Bar in Venice Italy with the likes of Hemingway & Gertrude Stein & F Scott Fitzgerald? No, but its high school wrestlings version of it. Then theres the Wings Warehouse.
