When do these go on sale? Also could anyone suggest a decent hotel near by? I'm not real familiar with Columbus. I'd like to try and book a room relatively soon. Thanks

I wish I had an answer for you.
Aside from not knowing when tickets go on sale, i don't know which hotel would be best...I live in Columbus!
But I will say this - and this goes for all - if you want to be guaranteed B1G tix, you might want to consider season tickets. Buying season tickets guarantees the opportunity for B1G tickets.
Also, I'll have to check the hockey schedule but I'm pretty sure Buckeye hockey is home around that time. If they are home during that weekend, B1Gs will be at St. John, which means less seating will be available.
Just some good for thought.
I recommend calling Kathleen Dean: 614.292.4797
Just saying.

I was wondering the same thing. I looked at last years information on the Ohio State ticket office and the U of Wisconsin website and tickets went on sale sometime in mid-November. So, I am assuming it will be around the same time this year.

Thanks for the information. I'm guessing tickets may be hard to come by from the sounds of it.

The one thing that could help out getting tickets, is that is the weekend of districts. So Saturday, most coaches will have kids wrestling and Sunday is most likely a practice day because of the short week with the state tournament starting on Thursday. That may keep some people from being able to go.

They'll be tickets available. St. Johns' holds about 12k for the wrestling setup. The question becomes what seats you have for the event.
