Discussion Topic: Mark Hall v Bo Jordan

I think it's tough to declare with a ton of confidence that Bo would beat Mark Hall at this point. Mark Hall has sought out and beaten the best guys he could find for years. While Bo has never really been pushed in any of his (folkstyle) matches, he really has a short count of high quality wins. He's certainly never beaten anyone of 2014 Anthony Valencia's level, and Mark Hall just smashed that guy.
I am high on Bo just as pretty much everyone is, but I think there is room to be a bit cautious until he beats some top competition.

Well, he has two controlled wins over IMar, who placed 4th at the Midlands last year, including a win over All American Isaac Jordan.
I'd say he's comparable to Valencia. Just my opinion though.

Well for one, Valencia SMASHED Martinez (tech falls) two or three times this year to make the junior world team. Those were freestyle matches, but still.
Another thing, though, Bo beat IMar their senior year... but Mark Hall also beat IMar that same year, as just a high school freshman.
The more (excellent) wrestlers I see beat IMar, it kind of makes me think that he's just not one of the true top wrestlers. Maybe that's unfair. I do think he'll be good in college but I don't know that I expect him to be "great."
