CSU wrestlers Ben Willeford and Riley Shaw both won championships at the Clarion Open. Both were NCAA qualifiers a few years ago. Nice to hear a bit of legitimate noise from the Vikings.

Willeford was runner-up at Binghamton today while Shaw took 3rd. 133 Dan King was also a runner up.

165 Matt Donohoe and 184 Xavier Dye finished one match shy of placement

Pretty solid day for CSU with two starters not competing. Willeford started the day with a win over returned AA Darian Cruz. I'm admittedly biased, but his loss in the finals had some extremely questionable officiating. Started the match down 4-0 because of that. Ended up tying it with a take down with 10 seconds remaining but gave up a last second reversal for the loss. As stated, Dan King took 2nd. Riley Shaw 3rd. Freshman Mikey Kostandaras takes 4th. Matt Donohoe, Latrell Davis, and Xavier Dye all take 5th/6th.

Hank... Carlone wrestled 141 this past weekend. He went 1-2.

Not sure where you saw that, but Carlone definitely did not wrestle this weekend. He was running the cameras with me. He will be making his debut at Navy in 2 weeks. Same goes for Corba at 174 as I understand it.

My bad... I was looking at brackets from 2013. Because I don't know what year it is...
