Jamie: thank you for the explanation. Wish I knew why he took injury time.

Not smart wrestling at all. Surprising for him. Must know situation. Start period then ask for IT. Something we talk about as a team in the HS room.

Thanks for the explanation. Nonetheless, what a frustrating way to lose. Although, hard to win when your 125, 184, and 197 all have very winnable matches where they combine to score 0 offensive points. Throw in Hunter gacking away his match and you can't feel too good about this one.
But, great wins for BoJo and JDJ! Logan continues to dominate and Demas got the job done as he usually does.

I'm officially readjusting my expectations for the bucks, not that what I say or making it official means diddly poo. I don't see them finishing higher than 4th right now.

It looked like burak had already chose down so Snyder tried to game the system and shake out a shoulder. However, in reality it was his choice which he then gave up. I really am attempting to bite my tongue on the coaching "tactics" of the buckeyes but the Martin match is inexcusable. Tosu looks lost in match management.

Typical OSU wrestling seems to be no real development. I try not to get to excited about OSU wrestling. This team under brands or Cael would be a lot better. Tomasello has beat no aa this year. Snyder has lost both of his big matches.

I hear same thing every year no offense. This team will not compete for a title.

Time to get rid of Ryan and bring in Jeff Jordan to lead the Bucks.

Wow -- crazy comments being made. :)
IA didn't really go nuts on Offense either. No TD for EITHER guy at 125 or 197. Both those matches won by escaping off bottom.
As that qb from Green Bay said, R-E-L-A-X.

Yeah I was real confused by the Snyder match, what a brutal rule.
OSU won 4 of 6 against the number 1 team and the technicality caught Snyder. Initial reactions are negative but really not a terrible outcome. I was more concerned by the flow of the matches, Iowa was on the attack. Iowa was winning the 3rd.
In order to win a title hunter would need to be 100%, just doesn't appear he is. I feel bad for him.
Martin giving up the reversal in the 3rd - wow.
Was awesome to see Bo compete.
Still work to do and expectations should be tempered, but they are a top 5 team. For sure.

Brady this is every year. I don't believe I said fire Ryan. But man we need to start opening it up a little. Every year I hear this team is going to compete. Just to watch them under achieve. Now I know they seem to do well in March. But I would like to see them winning these reg season matches also.

I'm giving Hunter a little slack here he is obviously not a 100% and we all know nothing can get you into wrestling shape other then wrestling and for him to come in less than a 100% to a top 10 kid and battle. Now if something comes out that he is slacking then I will change my mind but I find that hard to believe since he lives with Logan and I doubt he would let him slack.
Thank goodness we have a couple of months till wins and loses actually matter

I think we all need to relax. You don't win a national title in a dual meet. I don't think Iowa can out score us in the Big Tens or Nationals. The vets like Demas, JDJ, and Logan are doing their jobs through experience. Kyle is an 18 year old freshman with minimal experience on the D1 collegiate level. Nathan is in arguably the deepest weight class in the country as a redshirt. Both our going through some disappointments, however this will make them better. Their track record shows they will overcome these obstacles. It's not like we lost to some chopped liver today. Iowa is the number 1 ranked team right now. Before Tom Ryan walked in the door a National title wasn't in reach. My biggest concern is Hunter if he gets back into the AA form the Bucks will be right there.

Remain calm--all is not lost.
Bucks don't look bad and they're a revitalized Hunter Stieber away from being a team that can make dreams come true.
