Can't imagine what the family is going through, as a fan of Ohio wrestlers I wish they were at different weights.

With that said I noticed Isaac defeated Masa 9-0

Thoughts? Will they be 1-2 seeds @ Big Tens?

Both with great wins last night. Isaac looks to have a different edge this year, wrestling with a ton of confidence.

The match with Massa could have been 100-0. Pushed him around, was great on top, bullied him into a nearside. Was impressive.

Bo being able to come back against a top 6 wrestler is very impressive. Huge win, and long term ramifications in seeding at B10 tournament and Nationals.

This is a collision course.

3 of top 4 165's are Ohio wrestlers--Jordan, Jordan and Sulzer.

All other variables held equal, I think I'd give the edge to whichever used to win back in high school. I expect it to be very low scoring either way.

The common matches against Massa are a wash to me from a prognostication standpoint. Most recently, Isaac defeated him more soundly....but Bo is a more defensive-minded, position-oriented wrestler anyway. Also, Massa didn't look like he even wanted to be on the mat last night.

I think Bo has a better shot at beating Dieringer/Sulzer simply due to horse power. I would not advise him to let either of those two in as deep on his legs as Massa was getting though. He won't be able to bully them from that position like he has against his other highly ranked opponents.

Watched Isaac's match this morning. Wow. Massa was shaking his head at the end of the first period. Deflated worse than the patriots football. Either that first period ride took it out of Massa or he was sick. He looked terrible.

Isaac looked fantastic. Glad Jordan's won't wrestle in a regular season dual. Had one been scheduled I would've thought of pulling one of them until the Big Tens. I'm sure neither one wants to duck the other but this family is going to go through a lot over the next couple of years unless someone changes a weight class.

Harger just lost to Moore from Iowa so he will probably drop but still 4 out of the top 8 isn't bad

I thought we were going to make it. Nope. Almost made it though. I figured after five days we'd be home free. But alas, Mr. Fox made mention of it here on the #DotNet

I'm watching the Jordan (WISC)/Massa (UM) match now.

Two things:
#1) Isaac looks so much healthier and better (active) at 165.
#2) All this talk about BoJo's strength - and deservedly so, but...Isaac ain't weak.

Mark, how did like that cradle Isaac put on Massa? Seemed like Massa just relaxed a bit, looking like Jordan was just going to ride him out, then BAM! he cradles him. He darned near pinned him.

I re-watched it. Up to that point, Isaac had done the same thing on top while riding but never went to the cradle. In that regard, it was almost as if he had lulled Massa to sleep. Once he felt it, he pounced.

In case any of us were unaware, Isaac is quite good.
