It even has polyester singlets and mid 80s commercials as an added bonus!
(Thanks, Jeff, for posting these...I watch them whenever you do.)

Is it my end or is the sound quality, um, how you say...squeaky?
And in the opening scene, Lord Brakeman looked a bit creepy!

Randy Minadeo ended up winning the AAA state title that year in a pretty big upset. Bob Genovese was excellent and I believe won a title the next seaon. Dan Donovan was already a 2X champ and would run into Mark Marinelli in the state semis lasted that season. Dave Gregan as a sophomore...he would be a 2X runner-up, one in ot and the other by a quick fall to an opponent I thought he was five points better than. Long story short, that was a great field at Solon.
Does anyone know where Brian Kosla was for Chanel? I don't remember seeing him. He ended up beating a freshman Dunashya Yetts in the state finals that season.

Brakeman was the greatest wrestling writer/analyst of all time but he really didn't know the sport as well as people thought.
The reffing is horrible--not because the refs didn't apply rules properly but because they called stalling constantly. If you had a lead in a tight match, you were effed. Watch 105 lbs. The right guy ends up winning but it should never have gone into OT.

Kosla was sick for the first 3/4 of that year.

Thanks. I knew didn't wrestle the full season due to illness, but wasn't sure about the timeframe. He was one of my all time favorites.
