Watched my way through some wrestling videos and eventually came across this dual meet, broadcast by Iowa Public TV. I've also tried to find the Penn St. vs Ohio St dual meet (I think) where J. Jaggers got a pin to win the match for the Buckeyes. Would also love to see the dual where Tommy won it w/ his heroics in the final match of the night (was that also against Iowa?) In all seriousness, very cool to watch. I wish I could post a picture I have of the Ohio Jr. National team, it has Rex Holman, Dunyesha Yetts, Adam Disabato, Alan Fried and many more. One of the coaches was Conrad Estevez (Bro of Martin Sheen). That was one serious freestyle team. Ahh the memories. With my dad being coach of South High in the 70's, I can go on and on about the Mayfield Sectionals, the Mentor Districts and St. John Arena for States. I remember seeing the hotel across the street from St. Johns that always had a block of rooms reserved by Coventry and they had every window with the each letter of Coventry displayed. The Funk brothers, first tattoos I remember seeing on a HS wrestler. I could go on, but I will spare the group. Left the hospital in the late 90's and never got them back.
