Justin Hayes added to this discussion on March 1, 2015 Shel Harper's thread made me think having a "Where Are They Now?" thread could be useful. No doubt somebody knows somebody (here) who knows something about it. : ) (Obviously, we want to be sensitive to the negatives of life, but I think this particular community could navigate the updates without unnecessary slander or gossip.) Two of my favorite Graham wrestlers were Doug Hess and Bryce Markley. Jayne sure was a bad dude. Michael Hurley was a freshman at Walsh that year and he beat Jayne at Eds in a dual. It was a great match. Jim Behrens added to this discussion on March 3, 2015 I was just talking with Mark's father about my favorite Mark story. He remembered it well. I can't recall if it was his junior or senior year but he was a defending State champ. We are at Mentor for the District meet and, of course, he is the favorite. In the wrestle back rounds, I pick up the bout sheet for my next match and I was stunned to see Mark's name on it. He lost??? When and how??? Well, I found out that he lost in a previous round on a slam and was in the consi rounds. I immediately felt bad for whoever happened to be opposite him on his way back to 3rd.
