Not digging the fact that Logan is on the sideline for rnd 1 while Sorrenson gets not only a first round match but an injury default to boot. So, Iowa gets more bonus points. Thus far I believe they are 4 for 4 on bonus points. Gilman also had a 1st round match and earned bonus points. Iowa doesn't need help. Not sure why they get the 1st round matches but other 1 seeds don't.

Doesn't the scoring work like... If you have a first round bye and you pin in your 2nd round bout, you get the bonus points for both matches?

So, for those who haven't been following along at home, the 1st round thus far has looked like this:
NaTo wins 7-1 (I think)
JDJ wins by pin
Logan receives bye
Hunter wins 10-7
Josh Demas wins 9-2
Bo receives bye

That would be awesome and I like that method of scoring so it doesn't place teams w/ 1st round byes at a disadvantage for the team scoring

The near misses on bonus points are costly. NATO and demas fall just short. Hunter was darn close to them too before losing a risky position at the end.

I'm worried about Tav. I'm concerned that he is still having pain in that knee. And obviously from not wrestling, he will be getting winded easier. With him being a smaller 285, that is a lot to give up to guys that are 30 pounds heavier than you.
