The finals will be a lot more enjoyable having the Team title in our back pocket. Myles Martin & Ke-Shawn Hayes, you made the right choice. Great job by the Bucks. First the football team, now the wrestling team, NATIONAL CHAMPS!! Now let's add the exclamation points tonight!!!

I could be wrong, but I believe Graham high school had more AAs than any other with 4. I counted 3 for Blair and St Eds.

Just listened to Tom Ryan talk about overcoming adversity and how it forces you to learn lessons. This team had a mountain to climb with perils all around...and did it.
What an amazing accomplishment. Congrats to the wrestlers, coaches and their families.

During the two Tom Ryan interviews I heard he referenced Hunter both times. Stated that Hunter trying to wrestle with no arms and wouldn't give in. He was an inspiration to rest of team.

Can you imagine the recruiting opportunities?
"As you know, we put five guys in the NCAA semis last year, 3 of whom were Freshman...."

What a historic season. Great kids, great coach. Who knew WT3 meant the last third of the season?
This ride has been so much like the football season. Injuries to key players, VT loss in football and a couple of clunkers in wrestling (especially Lehigh), and left for dead by some.
They rally together as a team, inspired by stars reduced by injury. Led by coaches who lead by faith in each other. TR never stopped believing in his guys. He deserves this, along with Rosselli, J, and Thatcher.
Braxton then JT go down; Cardale comes out of nowhere and delivers.
Demas, JDJ, Martin underperform to seed; Courts makes the semis unseeded. Pivotal points.
Tonight is the icing on the cake. Tomasello wary of Moisey? Sure, 2 1/2 years ago he was put on his back for 45 seconds. Then 4 minutes of pain for Moisey. I think his most important match this year was the loss to Dance. He learned. Can Moisey win? Sure. I'll bet on Nate.
Snyder is the beast now. He looked every bit as big as J'Den and technically better. Gadsen is very good. He can win. On an emotional quest. I'll take our guy.
And Logie Bear. Why I am more nervous about that match than the others? His history is that he learns from the first match when he faces someone a second time. Still, Port is lanky, strong and positionally sound. I'll take our guy anyway (I know, not realy going out on a limb on that one).
Wish all on this forum could be together tonight and celebrate. Great time to be a Buckeye!
Thanks to all for update posts this week. Swamped at work but the posts allowed me to keep up.

Roe, well said!
Wrestling, is a subculture. Not everyone gets it. Most don't. We do... and that alone makes it feel as though we (the fans) are more a part of this championship, than the football championship.
Congrats to all the wrestlers, coaches and their families. And congratulations to the fans that have watched this epic moment unfold before our eyes.
Enjoy!
