Nato is on the early registration list for the US Open. Pretty interesting. He was a 3x junior national champ in freestyle right? And now an NCAA champion. Would love to see him wrestle Ramos.

I've watched his match with Alan Waters several times. Just a brilliant effort. His re-shot that led to the winning takedown was such a thing of beauty.

Here's the abridged version: http://www.flowrestling.org/coverage/252093-2015-NCAA-D1-Championships/video/764512-125lbs-Semi-finals-Nathan-Tomasello-Ohio-State-vs-Alan-Waters-Missouri#.VTUw8SG6e70

an aside, wont be an easy path next season for Tomo --- i count a whopping 11 All-Americans returning at 125 pounds next season. Seven from this year’s tournament, plus Megaludis, Joey Dance, Virginia Tech, Dylan Peters, UNI, Darian Cruz, Lehigh from last year. Of course Jordan Conaway, will move up to 133
for Penn State. ...s/BobP

I have seen reports that Garrett from Cornell might move up to 133 next year.

When the season began, I just couldn't see how NaTo would be able to touch Garrett or Delgado.

After the Iowa dual, I didn't think he'd ever beat Gilman (even though it was close, Nato never came close to a score).

With Delgado hurt, Waters emerged as the star of the weight.

And Dance seemed to be better than everyone not named Garrett or Waters.

Just goes to show what happens when a wrestler is prepared, capable and determined.

Tomasello unseeded...not sure if that's bad for him or the poor guy who draws him first.

I'll take Stieber by 4+.

I've got Snyder to the semis, at least. The only thing that worries me is if he's at a size disadvantage. This other guys haven't been at 197 for the last 6 months.

Schlatter over Marae.

Sponseller the third seed! Didn't expect that.

If this is the first time for a Pico/Stieber match-up, then I will take the under. If not, it'll be a tough line.

I know they've sparred and practiced together. I think flo might have a video, but not confident on that. Would have been last summer.

Just looking at the pre-registrations for both Seniors and Juniors and it appears that Pico is now registered for Juniors. Interesting.

Also, I saw that Jake Ryan and Micah Jordan are both at 154.5, which implies that neither is intending to cut to 141 next year.

Austin Reese is in an absolute bear of a bracket.

Myles Martin is there at 184. Interesting to see how he stacks up with Valencia, Nickal and Sliga.

Can't wait!

I just scrolled through some Twitter discussion on that. The best reasoning I've read concerns 2016.
