Discussion Topic: Sling TV for $20 a month
Doug Brandt added to this discussion on September 9, 2015
Just signed up for a free trial of Sling TV, because I wanted to watch the rest of the US Open Tennis Tournament. (I don't have cable.)
You can watch ESPN and ESPN2 on your computer, or you can hook up to your tv with an HDMI cable.
You can also watch on your iphone, ipad, etc. or your TV, given that you have a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick or other similar device. They are cheap.
For another $5/month, you can watch the Universal Sports Network and ESPNU, among a number of other sports networks, including the SEC network. Sure wish BTN was on the list.
Anyone out there subscribing to Sling?

I don't have Sling, but my wife and I have discussed axing our cable and trying something like that. How's the quality? If you miss a show, is there On-Demand?

Sorry I missed your post. No, I don't believe anything is archived. Quality is fine. You can get the first 7 days free and then cancel to see if you like it.

It has the SEC channel, but not BTN.
