Garcia very good prospect but decided to play football his senior year, suffered inj knee that never recovered.

but Garcia was from Washington state, not in our own back yard where supposedly we're building a fence (not a "Trump wall" mind u, sit back down libs, its just a harmless stay-at-home-be-a-buckeye or a Kent or a OU or CSU fence.)

I'lll be a dissenter and make a case that Nebraska is not a real threat.

Here's some facts: Hall has visited, in order, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Ohio State. He has not visited Nebraska, and according to a report from Flo, Hall is deciding between Nebraska and Arizona State for his fifth and final official visit.

So he hasn't visited Nebraska and may not visit Nebraska. You mean to tell me he'll end up picking a school he has not firm plans of visiting? Not buying it.

My sense is this is a two-horse race between Ohio State and Penn State.

Hall's not going to Wisconsin; few blue-chippers do. Though he visited Minnesota, the Gophers are not thought to be in the mix. My guess is Arizona State doesn't have much money available for Hall after breaking the bank in last year's class. Keep in mind, Stevan Micic chose Michigan after transferring from Northwestern in part because ASU couldn't make a sizable offer.

This will come down to Ohio State and Penn State — the nation's top two recruiting staffs.. Ryan vs. Sanderson. High Street vs. Happy Valley. Ohio RTC vs. Nittany Lion WC.

And if Bob P says he expects Hall to pick OSU, that's good enough for me.

bob: If you're wrong, you must vote for Bernie Sanders in the general election. If you're right, Trump is selecting you as his running mate.

Hank,
i like Bernie personally, though he's not my politics however he reminds me of alot of young idealists i went to ohio st with in the late 60's, i understand their passion --and their women were hot so it was wise to associate with them.

Trump offers a different kind of passion & debate. In the crucible that is Amercan politics all ideas are tested and challenged, as it should be. We need passion & debate-- just like on ow.net, LOL!

Bob, my initial reaction to your post is negative. It makes me feel like your hearing bad news. Please tell me I'm overreacting.

IMO a lot of this is due to the flo announcement live. I've noticed depending on which board your reading the speculation on where Mr. Hall is going varies. I think it behooves flo to keep that sort of thing going to increase the number of folks who will watch. So there may be a bunch of static regarding who the favorites are. Couple that with the fact that a teenager is trying to make one of the most important decisions of his young life (and god knows I still don't know why I decided some of the things I did when I was that age) and I don't think anyone is sure, maybe not even Mark. I will probably find out where he is going on this board. See you tonight where we can sink our teeth into some actual wrestling.

chalk it up to the vicissitudes of youth.
