BopP started me thinking with this post:
Quote from Bob Preusse's post:

"The BobP will be grilled baloney & swiss on Jewish rye garnished with chipotle mayo & a crisp kosher dill pickle, hmmmm."
|
So, if a sandwich was named after you, what would be on it?

Mark Niemann added to this discussion on April 2, 2016
The Niemann would have a classic base of honey & oat bread; a serious dose (3 or 4 slices) of turkey AND pastrami, along with a single slice of salami. I would also add mustard or honey mustard.
Each sandwich would come with a pickle spear and drink. Chips are optional.
POINT OF NOTE: I do have a Niemann Special already selected at a future coffee shop - original bagel - toasted, of course, with a thick spread of cream cheese, served with aglass of orange juice. My buddy hopes to open a neighborhood breakfast/lunch café/coffee shop. Hasn't happened yet but if it does, the Niemann Special will be on the board.

Ha! On second thought, that's probably the perfect description of a Niemann!

I think I am more of a side dish.
With apologies to Ron White, "they call me Tater Salad".

I recently savored the taste of a Mr. Brisket pastrami sandwich. Better than Davis Bakery or Corky and Lenny's.
Highly recommended.
I realize that this is only tangentially related to the thread's subject matter. Sorry.

Perhaps next year's NCAA pickem winner will win naming rights to their own sandwich for a week?

i will shortly be making a chicken salad sandwich, Heinens has excellent chicken salad btw.
the pickle is important, not on side, but on sandwich itself-- Claussen kosher dills are the best, in refrigerated section of grocery, not on shelf-- get the Claussen sandwich slices and lay one right on top, crisp & garlicky it elevates every sandwich.
take my word for this, a limp pickle is of no use to anyone.

Throw in said sandwich and it goes from spectacular to out-of-this-world prize.
