Coon was far and away the biggest obstacle for Snyder. His sheer size made him formidable--plus he's excellent. While I favored Snyder in this matchup, there is no doubt Coon was the one guy who could have figured out a way to beat him.
Unless J'Den Cox moves up...or Cael works real magic with Nevils...Snyder won't get challenged.

As good as Coon is, the separation between he and Snyder was pronounced. Like you said, it was his size that allowed even the possibility of an upset. Nobody's perfect, and an error against a wrestlers with Coon's size and skill could mean a fall.
Who is Snyder's chief rival this year now? Walz, or was he a senior last year?

Walz, Tanner Hall and Connor Medbery will be the closest matches. And none of those might be decisions.

Agree with M-Rod. I just don't think anyone left has the right style to defeat him. I mentioned Nevills because Cael is the one coach who could take a talented guy and devise a plan....but that's a huge intellectual reach on my part.
