Having worked in this business, I can assure you with 100% certainty that is is not legal.
There is a reason for the fences around sites like this. Usually a lot of signs as well.
Truthfully this is just stupid.

Bummer. Don't know him personally, but had always been a fan of Johnni Di, at least from afar. But I'm with at least certain of you, above. This is not only illegal, but incredibly reckless. It's just plain stupid. Stupid to do, and ill-advised to both record and post. Any/all of these attract attention, and imitation from impressionable youth, which of course can lead to tragic result. Sorry to be such a downer, but this just absolutely makes me shake my head.

You have to wonder where Coach Ryan enters this discussion as his Son is the primary videographer of what was going on? I appreciate that Johnni is a thrill seeker, but I will also tell you he is one of the best clinicians for working with young kids. It makes me wonder a little about the intersection of those two worlds and any unintended consequence. Reminds me of the football program in the 1990s called the program, there was a scene in which the college football players were laying traffic for an adrenaline rush. Copy cat scenarios popped up and it was later removed from the movie after some HS kids got hurt.
