When Tom Ryan first arrived at Ohio State, he had a mandate--find a 125 pounder. At the time, Ohio State had gone years without a credible presence at the lowest weight and everyone wanted to see him resolve this issue. One of his first big recruits was Nikko Triggas who was considered to be a top prospect at the time.
Fast forward past numerous national champs, two runnerup team finishes, an NCAA team title, a rare 4x champ, a Big Ten Title, a World and Olympic Champ....and Tom Ryan is back to the beginning.
Bucks need a 125 pound prospect. He doesn't have to land a superstar...but he needs to get someone with potential in the room by next season. Nate is a junior and has moved up. Rodriguez is a frosh but he's making a big pull. And there's no backup.
Who's out there right now who's a senior....in Ohio...that fits the description?

The koontz twins we just signed look like nice sleepers. But I think at this point we are going to have Rodriguez until "hopefully" Decatur gets here. And I would love to get both of the Decaturs!

I've brought this up before, but what about Matt Cardello. Not an immediate fix, but a junior 113 who is ranked in the top 10 nationally. Possible 125 candidate down the road.

Looking at the videos the joints twins are yearly nationally competitors in Greco and each have a state title under their belt..So there is potential there.

I'm wrong a lot, but I don't see Decatur as a 125-pounder in college.

Koontz twins are undersized (you're talking about 106/113 types through their junior year). I can't see them as high-end early career starter types. At least that's what their productivity to date tells me.
Unfortunately the high-end early career starter type a 125 just signed with Oklahoma State on Wednesday afternoon.
