This past Saturday the University of Akron Wrestling club hosted a tri match and avenged two dual losses from last season. The Zips beat #3 Grand Valley State University 37-24 and then beat #6 PSU-DuBois 39-11. Both of those teams walloped us last year, so I think we surprised some people.
It's a long season, so I'm not letting my guys get too excited, but I wanted to give an update and show everyone that the UAkron club is making some good progress.
