Anyone else having a problem with the live feed? The bottom half of the screen is blurry most of the time.

John Meeks was a big time recruit. Now he's getting stuck by a pumped up 133 true frosh in first round cons at the CKLV. Wrestling can really hurt your soul.

125 quarters--Baughman v J-Rod. Two Ohio studs from Wadsworth and Mass Perry. Both beat seeded guys in 2nd rd action.

Yes but four Bucks are already eliminated. Burcher is only one alive in cons with J-Rod, Nate, Micah, Myles and Moore in the quarters. Several of these quarter bouts look tough on paper with some difficult semis to follow.
One things for sure--we'll know a lot more about this team in about 24 hours.

You got backups in at 141, 174, and 285
So that's something to consider
Jake Ryan being eliminated already is a significant disappointment.

True. I was thinking about odds of winning it.
J-Rod is a snake on the mat. Long on his shots and long on top, he just smothers like a constrictor.
Nate did a terrific job against a dangerous opponent.

A couple thoughts:
Of course, OSU is missing two #1 ranked guys in Jordan and Snyder. Even with seasoned college guys, that matters as wins beget wins. Also 141 Hayes, a big scorer so far, is not in.
To me, the only real struggle weight right now is 157. I saw a "daddy ball" chirp on another site...I don't think that's the case. As a recruit, Jake Ryan is a gimme...he's free and won a match at NCAAs last year. I imagine something is off, but the staff and Jake will either right it or we'll have a new 157 at some point. I'm a huge JAke Ryan fan and think he can right the ship. And not to get overly personal, but since Coach Ryan posted it on Facebook, today is the anniversary of his son Teague's passing. To think that doesn't affect a young man competing today is silly.

Brian: Thanks for bringing up Coach Ryan's FB post. It was a beautiful message and tribute rolled into one. I read it with a lump in my throat and a smile on my face.

Shields from ASU just beat #1 Murphy, so maybe he is better than people thought? He beat Jake in the early round.

Agree that Shields is good. So is Sparkman...So is Lopez. Jake's not losing to "scrubs."

Superb quarter round for Ohio State. Four bonus wins and Nate earns a solid W over Naser. Burcher continues to creep through the cons. Bucks have grabbed the lead. Uncle Mo is paying the short handed Bucks a visit.
