Discussion Topic: Sammy Sasso and the age of Twitter
Ethan Moore added to this discussion on December 16, 2016

First - Sasso is a monster. He bonused his way through Ironman.

Sasso is a Jr. I guess he would project as a 57/65.

Second, since I'm a huge dork and all over Twitter, I can't help but notice Cosch Ryan re-tweets a lot of Sasso mentions. I recall he has done this with other athletes who were eventually Buckeyes.

Am I reading too much into this? Do I need to read a book? Get off Twitter?

Or is Sasso going to be a Buckeye?

To answer your questions, in order posed:

1. Probably, but let's hope not;
2. The movie is better;
3. Get off Twitter, are you crazy man!; and,
4. I hope so.

Sasso is a beast. Hard not to believe Coach Ryan is recruiting him if he's retweeting him.

Sasso would fill a need for the Buckeyes. He and Carr would make a nice 1-2 punch in the middle of the lineup. Maybe we can steal another one from PA. I'm sure PSU and every other College in PA is recruiting him as well.

Lots of schools are interested in Sasso, Ohio State is not alone in that regard.

The kid is super talented.

My initial point was that I've noticed a trend that Cosch Ryan re-tweets kids that eventually end up at OSU. Like he's trying to share secrets. Don't see him doing this for any other recruits right now.

I assume every D1 program is recruiting Sasso.

It seems that most coaches want to recruit scholar athletes of good character. These days having the coaching staff monitor the social networking accounts of prospective recruits might be a wise tactic to increase the chances of signing an athlete that doesn't have "issues".

Sasso wants to attend Iowa and the feeling is mutual.

Dear Corey,
Please see Hank's post on this matter. Due to the serious nature of this board, your most recent 10 pounds of negativity (weight adjusted for #DotNet gravity), please know that we on this board are due at least 26.43 pounds of positivity in your upcoming posts. Resistance is futile, good sir. Heck - even Michael Rodriguez has recently posted something positive about a post referring to a post mentioning a post that quoted a post that talked about Ohio State with a positive tone!!!! Now...if we could only penetrate the wall surrounding Josh Lowe...
