All matches brackets and matchboards are available at trackwrestling. Live feeds are available via bigten2go app. I think its free if you register through your cable provider, but I may be mistaken. Pletcher is 3-0 on the day and in the quarters. He is really starting to open up with a variety of attacks, and his pace is starting to resemble some of the other bucks. He's wearing guys down and taking advantage in the 3rd period. Myles looked awfully sluggish in his first match winning in overtime against a lesser known opponent. He looked better in the second match and will wrestle soon to get into the quarters.

Nieman,
Your boy Shakur Laney won in dramatic fashion to make the quarters as well.

Thanks for the update. He's good for at least one thriller an event!

Pletcher loses 9-3 to Kolodzik in quarters. Will probably have to face Mchrystal (Nebraska) who was upset early in cons. Has to win to place.

rough day for Myles. Looked real good in winning by pin in his third, but struggled in the qrtrs giving up three take downs. He didn't quite look himself, but I'm sure he'll bounce back.

Makes me wonder if Myles still hasn't quite adjusted to the new weight class yet?

My 12 penny theory would be that Dechow was doing something on his feet that caught Myles off guard. Probably good that they wrestled now so he can become hip to it.

Most people give you 2 cents, Hank just gave you 12! That's what you get when you come to this board, six times the value!!!!!

Hank, I was there matside. Dechow hit Myles with a couple of nicely timed double legs. Myles didn't look himself this tournament, very sluggish. Myles is a great wrestler and a tough kid and he will bounce back just fine.

Pletcher loses in his wrestle backs to place to an unattached Iowa State kid, Keenan Store (sp?). I will say that I think Luke is coming along nicely. On two occasions he had the tying takedown, but just couldn't fight through a couple of leg passes. You can tell he's making a lot of progress, and seems to be wrestling with confidence. He will be a bear in the third period against any team after a one hour weigh-in!!
