149 #5 Micah vs. Puriton - MD OSU 7-7
157 Ryan/ DeCarlo vs. # Berger - Tech N 7-12 (If Ryan wrestles then major for N)
165 Burcher vs. Arthur- Dec. N 7-15
174 #1 Bo/Kresevic vs. Barnes -Dec. N 7-18 (assuming Bo sits)
184 #10 Myles vs. #3 Dudley - Dec. N 7-21

My thoughts:
125 – Lambert tech Rodriguez. Early season Jose is a toss up, recent Jose gets killed. I hope he can round back into form.
5-0 Nebraska
133 – NaTo over Montoya by decision. I think NaTo can push for a major, but Montoya is tough and I think he can hang on and scramble enough to keep this to a 5-7 point win.
5-3 Nebraska
141 – McCrystal over Pletcher by decision. I think the strength advantage will be a little too much. I think Pletcher keeps it close though.
8-3 Nebraska
149 – Micah over Purinton by major. If Micah can get anything going from top, this could be a tech.
8-7 Nebraska
157 – Berger with the major or tech over Ryan/DeCarlo/Powell. This weight is a huge hole right now and I’m not sure that changes this year.
13-7 Nebraska
165 – I hate to say it, but give me Arthur over Burcher. If this were at home I might switch this pick, but I’ll give home mat advantage here.
16-7 Nebraska
174 – If Bo doesn’t wrestle, this might be the dual. Bo over Barnes by decision or Barnes over Kresevic by major. I think Bo will go. Needs to get some mat time every couple weeks.
16-10 Nebraska
184 – Dudley over Martin by decision. This is absolutely a match Martin can win, but I can’t pick him to beat a top 5 guy until he actually does.
19-10 Nebraska
197 – Moore over Studebaker by decision. Moore doesn’t seem to be hitting a freshman wall, and I think his pace is too much for Studebaker and he gets the decision.
19-13 Nebraska
285 – Snyder over Jensen by tech. Snyder will be looking for a pin after he tires Jensen out, but I think Jensen stays off his back.
19-18 Nebraska
This match could easily go either way, as there are tossup matches and then, intricacies within the favorites as well.
125 and 157 are key bonus wins for Nebraska. I have them getting 5 in each match, but if it’s only 4, then that’s a Buckeye win.
133 and 149 could be more bonus for OSU than I gave them, again potentially swinging the dual.
141 and 165 are toss ups, both of which I have going to Nebraska.
174 changes based on who is the starter.
184 and 197 are swing matches, which I have split.
285 depends on Snyder being available. I think he’ll be there, but if not, that’s a 9-12 point swing.
Should be a great match. Can’t wait!

Montoya is huge! Saw him at the all star meet, Nate will have his hands full. Montoya can ride but I think Nate wins 6-3. Nebraska can beat OSU even at full strength because of the holes in are lineup. I think Nebraska wins 6 matches to 4 and the dual because of bonus points.

I think Myles is ready to get a big win. Really like what he's doing on his feet.
Nate can Major. Pletcher can win even if odds are in favor of opponent.
Bucks need Bo in lineup. And they need to be competitive at 165.
I'd forfeit 125. JRod is spent and needs a chance to regroup. Maybe he can make a run at BT's?

does anyone know if J-Rod weighed in yesterday against Rutgers. It looked like he did and then didn't go. I'm confused as to why Ryan would make him such down and then not wrestle. Sucking him down week in and week out isn't the best strategy in my opinion.

I'm of the opinion that the Bucks need to do what is best for each individual at this time. They are out of the big ten race, running guys out there for the sake of a meaningless dual is not a smart strategy in the run up to Big Tens. As such, I'd be shocked if you saw Bo or Rodriguez. I'm 50/50 on Ryan based on whatever his injury may have been. Every other match is posturing for seeding. I think Jose is taking one for the team right now. He was suited up and ready to wrestle Monday night, but I think he was sat once the victory came down to Nate. Nebraska wins the dual going away and the Bucks slip down the rankings a bit.
125: Nebraska by forfeit, 0-6
133: Bucks by dec, 3-6
141: Pletch gets his first win over higher ranked foe, 6-6
149: Micah by maj, 10-6
157: Berger by tech, 10-11
165: Neb by dec, need to see more out of Burcher on his feet, toss up, 10-14
174: Neb by maj, 10-19
184: Neb by dec,toss up, 10-23
197: Kollin by dec, 13-23
285: Kyle by tech, 18-23
If Pletch wins, Burcher wins the toss up, and Myles delivers we win 24-15.

Tough matches tonite and Sunday. A split would be terrific assuming no BoJo.

Bo just split Barnes. Didn't score but hurt him.

Best effort by Bucks in a long time. Good job to the whole lineup.

Best dual effort of the year for the Bucs. Myles had a great win, and Moore with a tough win. Snyder gets ridden out but still dominates on his feet. Nate has a tough time penetrating defense of Montoya but remains composed and wins the close one. If he doesn't successfully pass the leg at the edge of the mat he probably loses. And Pletcher with a solid win over #10 with a ride out in the 2nd period. What a joy to watch the true freshman, just a nose to the grindstone type wrestler.

Just perused comments from the PSU dual. Does everyone feel better now? I do.
Key for Bucks is a relatively healthy Bo. He's beaten Meyer and Barnes while at well below 100%. As he improves, the team gets stronger.
J-Rod was much better last night which helps a lot. He'll be a huge wildcard at Big Tens. He could finish top four...or not place.
